Breakfast, as they say, is the most important meal of the day wherein you get most of your energy from. This means that whatever and wherever we would be eating should be well thought of.
I have been seeing rooftop bars and restaurants on my news feed for quite some time now and one of them was City Garden Grand Hotel's Firefly Roofdeck which I was planning to visit. In my luck, my friend and blogger partner, Ann Salas was invited to do a review on City Garden Grand Hotel along with the Firefly Roofdeck and Spice Cafe which she decided to share with me. Staring at the vast space, enjoying the star-like shimmer of city lights, and observing real time human-living in a high spot are just few things this place could offer. That's why it surprised me how they've thought of placing a spacious restaurant on a roof deck.
Poblacion, Makati is known for its red-light district. A place where men and women in revealing clothes try their best to convince you to get a massage or a drink while you pass by. To be honest I used to think that this place is scary as hell after being cat-called numerous times in the past. That is why, I do my best to prevent myself from going through it even if it's the shortest way to get to where I need to go. But as I've stumbled upon this hidden gem in the core of this district, I began to admire the place.
I already knew back then that I was "that odd kid" who would rather watch real time human living rather than cartoon characters violently chasing and hitting each other non-stop.
I've never thought #adulting would be so difficult. I remembered how I was so "sure" I was ready to face anything in the "real world" during my college days and how I have been nonstop wishing to quickly graduate so I could start working my ass off. But just like any other graduate, I too … Continue reading Why work is just like a relationship?
This is one of my La Union detours. A throwback to remind myself that I could pull of a "weird for some" colored hair. Pindangan Ruins was a very "holy yet creepy" place for me. Starting with my walk towards it, I started to feel a certain unwanting aura. I tried shaking it off and … Continue reading La Union: Pindangan Ruins
Blessed to enter Arunachal Pradesh Last November 2017, I have been given the chance to visit an unknown and protected place named Arunachal Pradesh. This place is located in the Northeast part of India near the Himalayan Mountains and the only way to reach is by land or train. Arunachal Pradesh as I said earlier is a … Continue reading Northeast India: Arunachal Pradesh

Let me start with the strongest word on the title for me which is "frightened." I would love to give notice to it because it wasn't easy for me to accept it. I always think of myself as someone strong. Someone who could deal with any pain inflicted. Little do I know that the strong … Continue reading How can a frightened heart love again?
When I was younger I would always argue on why adults always complain on wanting to be young again. I remembered back then, I would defend how being an adult is a privilege wherein you could do so much with your age and with the salary you acquire monthly. It had never crossed my mind … Continue reading Re-imagining Childhood
